Struct hid_io_core::device::evdev::EvdevDevice[][src]

pub struct EvdevDevice { /* fields omitted */ }

Device state container for evdev devices

Implementations

impl EvdevDevice[src]

pub fn new(mailbox: Mailbox, fd_path: String) -> Result<EvdevDevice>[src]

pub fn process(&mut self) -> Result<()>[src]

Process evdev events NOTE: evdev doesn’t necessarily group all event codes from a single Hid message into a single EV_SYN scan report. While annoying (and makes it hard to perfectly emulate hid) this is how normal NKRO keyboards are also handled on Linux so users won’t notice a difference. On each scan report additional keys will be added to the HidIo packet so you’ll eventually get the full set (just communication more “chatty”). This also complicates unit testing :/
